Attendees with Physical or Mental Disabilities

Living with a physical or mental disability is no reason to miss out. We’ll be compiling a detailed access report on the venue, but of course access is not just a matter of wheelchairs and lifts.

If you need

  • documents in large print or different coloured paper, or printed in a different size or font

  • an adapted room for wheelchair access

  • accelerated registration so you don’t have to stand around waiting

  • help moving luggage

  • information about the venue that is not covered in the Access Report

  • assistance finding a local BSL interpreter

Or anything else to make BiCon possibly for you please let us know when you register or email enquiries@bicon2012.org.uk.We will have trained first aiders on hand during the event, and we’ll
make sure there is always a quiet space available on site. BiCon also provides a listening service, staffed by experienced listeners, if you have any issues you’d like to discuss in confidence.
